Hi Everyone,
Sorry I missed the post yesterday. I moved back to Zone A and it was an unusually chaotic and difficult move. Thankfully, I’m completely settled and ready to get back on schedule, which leads into our next topic…There are big changes in Nappyland folks. I’m rolling out some new features:
4x a week posting…Will be here to stay!
I really like the 4x a week posting schedule I was maintaining when I was trying to get my travel posts up as quickly as possible because I got to bring you more content and the schedule really worked for me. I have September 2011 planned like this and if it works and doesn’t get to crazy with school I’m going to keep it up for the rest of the year. The general “idea” of the schedule will be the same: Hair Idols on Monday, Tuesday whatever I want, Wednesday nothing, Thursday whatever I want, Friday…Well, more on that one later ^_^
Layout Changes
I’ve been playing with some new themes, designing a new header and working on some new features. If you’re curious about what I’ve been up to in terms of design, check out the blogger version of Alice in Nappyland where I’ve been playing with different layouts and headers (blogger really stepped their game up in terms of creative freedom and layout design!). Sadly, I don’t know exactly when some these changes will appear on the wordpress Alice in Nappyland because they’ve changed their layout policy so it’s been taking me longer than expected to actually make something I like because I’ve become so restricted ;__;
New posts!
I’ve gotten really lucky lately in terms of amazing beauty and skin care products so I’m going to be posting some reviews of those. This is amazing because I have super sensitive skin (I got serious burns on my legs from using Nair) and I really hard color to match in terms of face products. I’m also going to introduce a weekly fitness/health feature on Fridays! Partly to keep me accountable and partly to give naturals in college/university specifically an idea about how best to fit exercise and healthy eating into their schedules (trust me, I know how hard it is).
